20-minute fit check
A free conversation to confirm sites, priorities, decision-makers and whether a paid assessment would be worthwhile. It is not an audit and includes no savings estimate.
Review what you pay, how you use energy and where to invest next. For industrial property owners, occupiers and the advisers who support them.
Free 20-minute fit check. The portfolio assessment is a separately scoped, paid engagement.

Our paid Portfolio Energy & Carbon Opportunity Assessment brings your sites, energy use and project options into one agreed assessment. Fees are quoted by site and scope, reflecting complexity, travel and available data. Scope and fees are agreed before work begins.
Review what you pay, then prioritise how you use energy.
| Opportunity | Priority | Next action |
|---|---|---|
| Utility bills & contracts | Start here | Rates & renewals |
| Lighting & controls | Investigate | |
| Rooftop solar | Feasibility review | |
| Battery storage | Demand analysis | |
| Fleet charging | Capacity check |
The assessment is a paid service. Estimated savings, carbon impacts and payback depend on stated assumptions; funding and project outcomes are not guaranteed.
A free conversation to confirm sites, priorities, decision-makers and whether a paid assessment would be worthwhile. It is not an audit and includes no savings estimate.
A desktop review of up to three agreed sites, using available bills, energy contracts and operating information. Receive an initial price and contract review, data-gap review and prioritised site shortlist. No site visit is included.
Agreed site visits, review of relevant building systems and operating practices, opportunity analysis and a portfolio report. A three-site pilot can be scoped as an initial package.
Your proposal sets out the sites, visits, data requirements, timetable, deliverables, fee and exclusions. Detailed engineering, specialist surveys, new metering, EPCs, formal ESOS work and implementation support are separate services.
Arrange a fit check →Two ways to start the conversation. One practical approach to moving from an energy question to a properly scoped project.
Review energy prices and contracts, compare investment options across your estate, build an internal business case and decide which sites deserve attention first.
Bring Enerserve into acquisitions, lease events, refurbishments or energy programmes where practical assessment and delivery coordination would help.
Client relationships, responsibilities, confidentiality and any referral or joint-working terms are agreed at the outset. Initial discussions can take place without identifying your client.
The right combination depends on demand, property constraints and commercial objectives. We assess suitability before recommending the next step.
Review electricity and gas unit rates, standing charges, contract end dates and renewal windows. Explore whether suitable procurement options merit further comparison, with your operating needs and existing commitments in view.
Explore rooftop generation, on-site consumption and storage against demand patterns, roof suitability and connection requirements.
Investigate lighting, controls, heating and operating patterns to understand where targeted improvements may make sense.
Consider charging demand, electricity capacity and operational needs as part of the wider site investment plan.
Start with the assessment. Commission further project development, coordination or monitoring only under an agreed scope.
Agree the scope, fee and permission to review data. Request around 12 months of bills, current contracts and renewal dates, half-hourly data where available, site details and operating hours. Record gaps explicitly.
Review the portfolio and carry out agreed visits. Rank measures by estimated impact, cost, confidence, disruption and dependencies. Present the report in a decision meeting.
Agree which measures merit detailed feasibility or quotes and who owns each next step. Commission implementation support separately, with clear partner responsibilities.
After installation, separately commissioned tracking and progress reporting can compare actual performance with the baseline and explain variances.
Yes, within the agreed scope and using the bills and contracts you supply. We review unit rates, standing charges, renewal dates, relevant terms and potential procurement options. Price opportunities are shown separately from consumption-reduction opportunities to avoid double-counting estimated savings. A lower tariff or saving is not guaranteed: quotes depend on the market, consumption profile, credit checks and contract terms.
Supplier tendering, switching or brokerage is only undertaken under a separate agreement. Any broker involvement, fees or commissions would be explained before you commit. We do not change suppliers or contracts without your explicit authorisation.
We can assess potentially suitable routes, including customer capital, third-party project finance or power purchase arrangements, and grants where relevant. Availability, eligibility and terms need checking for each project. Enerserve does not guarantee, provide or underwrite finance.
We help organise energy and emissions information for practical decisions and internal reporting, identifying boundaries, assumptions, data gaps and responsibilities. Independent assurance and regulatory compliance advice are separate specialist services.
Energy and emissions reduction comes first. If residual emissions remain, we can help explore credible carbon-credit options separately, including the proposed projects, credit details and retirement evidence. This is separately scoped and is not part of the core assessment fee. Credits are shown separately from measured emissions; they do not replace reductions or guarantee carbon neutrality, ESG claims or compliance.
No. The standard opportunity assessment is not automatically ESOS-compliant. Formal ESOS work requires eligibility checks and a separately agreed specialist scope, involving an appropriately qualified specialist where required. Current GOV.UK guidance gives 31 December 2026 as the Phase 4 qualification date and 5 December 2027 as the compliance notification deadline. Check the official ESOS guidance.
Responsibilities are defined in the project agreements. Specialist designers and installers are accountable for their contracted work. Enerserve’s assessment and coordination role, partner checks and any monitoring or warranty support are agreed explicitly. Savings, funding and project outcomes are not guaranteed.
